Welcome to DABS Rescue.

We thank you for visiting and hope you find your next 'furkid'
listed on our pages.

DABS is a non-profit registered charity, and any funds raised from the adoption of our dogs and cats is entirely put towards the costs involved in the rescue, rehabilitation, vet fees, ongoing feeding and worming of our animals.

All animals we rehome are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed and are heartworm tested. Most of all, they are loved, but need your ongoing love and patience, and a nice snuggly bed at night!

DABS also provides discounted desexing for low income, needy people wishing to have their dogs desexed. We encourage this as it helps prevent unwanted litters - many of which end up in our pounds, or worse, euthanised.

FOSTER CARERS: DABS have lovely dogs 'coming out our ears' and VERY URGENTLY require foster carers able to take one (or more!) of these darlings into their homes, get to know them and assist in finding them forever homes. Perfectly adoptable dogs are being killed in pounds every day, this needs to STOP NOW!

Thanks to the kind people who inquired after Blackie the street cat. He was offered a lovely forever home which meant he could be impounded, treated by a vet for his medical conditions, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and finally... ADOPTED! Best wishes Blackie.

Please join us to celebrate our 30th Birthday. It will be a fun night as well as your
chance to meet our volunteers and help the animals.
The evening will be a hosted night with entertainment, music, games, prizes, a live
auction and raffle plus special guest speakers, in fully licensed premises adjoining
the club bistro and bar.

Where: 'Club Ashfield' – Ashfield Catholic Club 5 – 7 Charlotte Street Ashfield
When: The evening of Saturday 13th September 2008 from 7pm
